Taking Metro Train in France

Our last trip to France was really excited but also strange. We had our chance to stay in Paris for two days and one night only. That's because we had to fly to Asia through France. So we thought we should take our chance as well to do sight-seeing Paris city. But since we were there with our small children, we did not really have a good chance to walk around the town. It's simply too big for us to explore the city in two days only.

Anyway, we also had our chance to use buses and train to visit some places in Paris. Our hotel was located near the train station, it was only 15 minutes walking from the train station to the hotel. So, it was really crowded area at that time, especially in the morning and after office hour.

Taking a metro train in the morning to go somewhere is not a good idea for people who is traveling with small kids. The train station was so crowded and it's simply too many people inside the train that we took that morning. People hardly could sit, most people were standing inside the train. I even had to carry my boy because I was afraid that people will step on him or push him to the corner.

But if you are looking for cheap transportation in Paris, metro train is the cheapest one that you can get. You need to know first where you want to go then you can check the information in the train station regarding the right train that you need to take. A map will be useful when you need to find the way to go to some places.

You can get the tickets from the ticket machine. Just need to have some coins or credit card when you want to buy your metro train tickets. That machines can be found easily in the train station.
